Our members stand for what they think is right, we don’t have a top-down manifesto. We believe each council should serve their local communities first, if that means working with other councils we will.

Community Child care

Childcare is best done local, it’s better children walk than drive, it’s better they see familiar faces, it’s better they have a stable environment. We will encourage and support community childcare.

community transport

Delivering the right services to the community, not saying “more buses” because its an easy answer. We need to make it easy for people to move around.

Focus on the local community

From parking problems to childcare the local community knows how to solve these problems. Getting residents more involved with how we move forward will bring better ideas and answers which deal with the quirks of each street. There is no perfect place and there are no perfect answers but those who are most effected will have the most enlightened answers.
