More visible policing in high traffic areas such as our town centres, including evenings and weekends. No one should fear the police, but no one should fear other too.

Focus should be given to high impact crimes, the mental scars from burglary can be just as bad as the physical ones from violent crime.

We support our police, we understand their job can be near impossible sometimes, but we cannot tolerate corrupt police officers.

Peelian Principles

We support the 9 original Peelian Principles for policing. The police should be impartial upholders of the law and must police by consent. We agree the best measure of policing success is the absence of crime and disorder, but sometimes the visible presence of policing is the best way to achieve that.
