Our councillors don’t have a manifesto forced on them, we expect them to do what they believe is right for their constituents.

Borough councillors will return their basic allowance to community projects in their area.

We will implement local referenda for key issues, targeting those who will be affected by council decisions to gain, respect and implement their response.

Answerable & Accountable

We believe that those governing must answer to the governed. Occasionally there are issues of such importance and magnitude that the decisions made by the council must reflect the views of the majority and not the blind implementation of government policy, and not from motives of personal kudos or profit. Consequently, we will implement local referenda for key issues, targeting those who will be affected by council decisions to gain, respect and implement their response.
