As a candidate for Whitchurch and the Cleres and Oakley and the Candovers, I am delighted to announce that this year I am fundraising on behalf of Wessex Heartbeat.
On 3rd October 2021 I am going to be running the London Marathon in aid of the charity, which has supported my family over the years.
“In 2016 my Mum underwent open heart surgery at the hospital and thanks to the charity I was able to stay at the Heartbeat House for nearly two weeks. In that time, I regularly visited my Mum as she underwent her many operations. I am immensely grateful to the charity for allowing myself and my close family to stay there for free.”
As part of my fundraising efforts, I am hosting a Garden Party at the Alexandra Pub in Farnborough, Hampshire on 30 May 2021, to which YOU are all invited!
- BBQ: starting from 1pm
- Live Music from the indie band The Maida Vales: 3pm – 6pm
- Fabulous prizes to be won in the Charity Raffle: starting from 5pm
No need to worry about parking, as facilities are provided in the nearby ASDA carpark. Tickets cost: £4.36 per person and children under 12 go free. All the proceeds of the tickets are going to Wessex Heartbeat, a charity which helps people with heart conditions who live throughout the Wessex region.
